Looking for some comfort.?

my dad has been in the icu for 16 days now after he was supposed to come home after 6. it has been constant problems after he had surgery to remove some of his esophagus after a battle with cancer. while in icu he has encountered phenoumia and atrial fib and tach. yesterday i watched him throw up 6 times and i held my crying mom in my arms. they figure it was a stomach ulcer and are treating it. he is in good spirits and is awake and talking and joking like his usual self. i was wondering if the problem with the lungs has cause the heart problem. and some comfort
